Nurse Practitioners

Lesley Goodger (f)

Prior to becoming our Nurse Practitioner, Lesley was a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Community.  She also worked in the Emergency Department, assisting in preventing admission into acute hospital beds, as well working as a Senior Nurse Practitioner in the Urgent Response Team.

Lesley works alongside our Doctors and is able to provide home visits to our patients when needed.

Nurses

Our Nurses are trained to undertake on-going care of patients with long term conditions such as asthma, diabetes and high blood pressure. They can also assist with the management of obesity and heart disease. 

All our nurses are able to provide cervical smear tests and immunisations, as well as perform dressing changes and blood tests.

Healthcare Assistants

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
